Does eFTP need a certain version of comctl32.dll?
eFTP Explorer will not run with the comctrl32.dll shipped with original version of Windows 95. This .dll is dated 7/11/95. We have successfully tested eFTP with versions of comctrl32.dll dated 7/14/96 or later. If you get the message "The EFTP.EXE is linked to missing export COMCTRL32.FLL:InitCommonControlsEx.", then you need a newer version of comtrl32.dll. To download the newest versions of several Windows .dlls, go to our FTP site. If you are using Internet Explorer, left-mouse-click the appropriate file name and select "Save ...". If you are using NetScape Navigator, right-mouse-click the appropriate file name and select "Save ...". NOTE: As with any Windows\System file, save your current version to a backup directory before attempting to use a newer version. | |||||||||
