How can I view a file without decompressing it?
eZip Wizard will let you "open" a file that is still compressed within a .ZIP file. For example, you can view the contents of readme.txt before you unzip the .ZIP file -- it may have important information in it that will tell you where to place the unzipped files.
Here's how to do it:
- Launch eZip Wizard and follow the steps to select a file for unzipping.
- From the "What files do you want to extract?" panel, simply double-click on the file you want to open. You can also right-mouse-click on the file, then select Open from the popup menu. (The application that is launched is totally dependent on your Windows file associations). If you have Inso's QuickView Plus installed, you can use the QuickView Plus option to view the file.
