How much do files really compress?

It varies. For example, if you are compressing a lot of graphics files, uncompressed they can be huge but they tend to compress to very small. Program files (*.exe) can run the gamut -- some will compress a lot, some a little. When you finish creating a ZIP file, the last eZip panel will tell you how much space the files occupy when uncompressed and the size of the new compressed ZIP file.

Also, with eZip Wizard, you can control the amount of compression being used which will also affect the size of the ZIP file.
