Why do I need eFTP when I already have a web browser?
Web browsers are great for viewing pages, but not so great when used as a "file manager." eFTP Explorer has been designed from the beginning to treat FTP site "browsing" no different than "browsing" your hard drive. After all, when you go to an FTP site, it is to find/download/upload files.
Unlike your web browser, eFTP lets you...
- select multiple files at one time (just like Windows 95/NT Explorer does) and drop them in the download queue.
- view an FTP site's structure just like you would view the structure of your local drive.
- queue files for downloading at a later time.
- maintain a list of files on a Watch List that you want to download only if you find a newer version.
- create or delete directories on your FTP site.
- upload files to your FTP site.
Doesn't it make sense to use a product that was DESIGNED to browse FTP sites?
