How long should a scan take?
During a scan, every file and folder on the drive is examined and information is accumulated. For larger drives or directories with many files, this may take a few minutes, but for most drives this task normally takes under a minute. While scanning your drive, eSpace Analyst displays the directory that it is currently scanning in the Folders and Files View. Once the scan is completed, the Folder and File Report will appear in this window.
